Today, these Palace and Park Ensembles, having kept their past glory of the tsarist court, strike their guests with their stunning natural beauty and the elegance of the architectural forms.

Excursion prologue

This tour will be an exciting journey through the history of the Russian State, the picturesque place parks, tsarist halls and galleries. Get ready for the exciting and interesting tour, which will begin from the trip along the Tsarskoye Selo Road which also has many sights to offer.

Catherine Palace

Upon arrival in Pushkin, you will be offered to visit the Grand Catherine Palace, which was the grand residence of the monarchs for a long time. The unprecedented scope and the tsarist glory can be traced here in the splendid luxury of exterior and the gorgeous inner decoration. You will get to learn interesting facts about the Grand Enfilade, which is made by a row of halls with plenty of gilded decorations. And, of course, The Amber Room will not be neglected.

The programme includes visiting the halls that appeared in the palace later on (at the times of Catherine II): Dome dining room and Chinese hall, Silver and Blue cabinets, Lyon and Arabesque living rooms. During the reign of Catherine II, there were changes made to the park. In particular, the English landscape park was designed.

Pavlovsk Palace

The Pavlovsk Palace and Park Ensemble is impressive in its scale. The Pavlovsk Park, famous all over the world, covers an area of 600 hectares! It is unique in terms of its beauty and elegance and it ranks with the biggest parks of Europe in its scope. The elegant and solemn Grand Pavlovsk Palace is the true crown of the Park.

The Grand Palace once was the residence of the Emperor Paul I. Its halls house unique collections of sculpture and fine art, furniture, porcelain and bronze. Many of the exhibits were given as a diplomatic gift by the European monarchs.

The Grand Throne, the Greek and the Italian Halls, the Art Gallery and the apartments of Maria Feodorovna are considered to be the most gorgeous parts of the whole Palace.
